Freedoms Foundation teaches civic-responsibility and develops young citizens to be leaders at all levels of our society - in their schools and churches, neighborhoods and cities, and throughout the nation. Every bid helps Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge provide the tools and information to teachers use to mold and inspire great young citizens who are our nation's future. For more than 50 years we have provide grad-level professional development for teachers in American history, the Constitution, the Medal of Honor, and character development - seminars and workshops that have been described by participating teachers as "the most inspiring experience of my professional career."

In the summer of 2019, nearly every one of the 440 participating teachers will receive scholarship support to attend one of nine different programs including Medal of Honor Legacy seminars on WWII, the Cold War, Vietnam, and the War on Terror, in addition to seminars on topics like the 19th Amendment, Abraham Lincoln and the Constitution, and entrepreneurship and the free enterprise system.
